For newborns, we use your due date as a place holder. When baby arrives, you'll send me a note and we then can pick a date for your session. My ideal time frame is for newborn is around 2-3 weeks of age, but every baby is different.
For family portraits, you let me know the approximate time frame you are looking to book. I can send you a whole page of location ideas and examples to help you decide where to go.
All full session are all inclusive, which means you get to keep ALL of the photos in your gallery as a high resolution, digital download. All sessions come with a print credit as well.
Scheduling your session
You can also add on a maternity session to any newborn session. Maternity sessions are done on location inside of San Francisco and last about 45 minutes. They include all of the images in your gallery.

Portrait Sessions
This session has it all. I bring the studio to you - props, lighting, blankets, lovies and outfits. All you have to do is provide the beautiful baby!
Looking for a simple, quick way to capture your new family? The simply baby session is for you. I come to your home for about 45 minutes or so and capture you as you are. We use your home as our canvas and capture lifestyle images of your new life together. This session has no props - just you and your simply sweet new baby.

DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely! All images you receive will be carefully hand edited in my style, which is represented on this site in great detail. I will never hand you over a RAW or unedited photo.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
I will deliver your photos within 2 weeks of our session, sometimes sooner!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
This is probably the most asked question I get. Basically, wear something that makes you feel amazing! Here are some of my best guidelines to go with that though:
+No prints! We want the focus to be on you so the less print or super loud color combos you have going on, the better.
+Wear neutrals! Neutral colors are universally flattering and give your photos an elegance. Neutrals also make it easier for you make your family members match and look like a unit. Blues, blushes, creams and grays are my favorites. You can always add a pop of color with a scarf for some pop!
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
I am a Mom. I know things happen when there are little people involved. I will attempt to be as flexible as I can for illness, ouchies and more. :)
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
If you need to cancel your session all together, the deposit that we take at booking is non-refundable. You can use it to book another session with me within one year.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
Every session is different, but I guarantee a minimum of 40 images (of color and black and white) in your gallery for a full session.
WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND THAT I PRINT THROUGH YOU?
My pro printer is amazing. The colors are vivid and sharp, and the prints will be just like you see on your computer. The same cannot be said for places such as Walgreens, Costco, etc.
WHAT TIME OF DAY SHOULD WE SCHEDULE THE SHOOT?
Light is probably the #1 factor in beautiful photography. The best time of day depends greatly on the location you choose and the time of year, but in general we're looking for the sun to be lower in the sky.
